4 of 5 Cool Tech Tools for Video

GoReact provides a more formal structure for evaluating student generated video. In addition to instructor, peer and self qualitative feedback, there is a ratings line option that adds a quantitative measure to the evaluations. This tool is NOT free. The instructor account comes with 30 minutes of free recording time, and time needs to be purchased after that. Students can pay $15 to have up to 90 minutes of recording time for a semester.

If you are teaching a class, such as an ASL (American Sign Language) or electronic media, where evaluating student-generated video is a priority, then investing in a subscription might be valuable for you. Claire Sanders, Deaf Studies Chair, uses GoReact with her students and would be a good resource if you're considering using it.

If you don't need the formal evaluation component, consider using the free Cool Tech Tool for Video 2.
